Ten Year Camper Returns to Foster

On a late October day, past camper, Ken Myers, wandered down memory lane.  As a ten year camper and one year staff member in 1987, Ken has many fond memories of camp.  "The environment of camp made it very unique.  There is just no place like it," Ken stated.

It is the little things, as you go through life that brings back memories.  When your kids are growing up, it brings back the memories of what he was doing as a kid. Camp was a big part of his childhood.

When looking at the staff photos, Ken could pick out almost all of his counselors, the program directors, and ranch staff.  He commented on the funny things staff did to make camp special.  Kens' memories include the lost cabin, The Foster Brothers, staff pranks and parachute flushing.  He adds, "I shattered a waterski one summer and all the staff signed it and gave it to me.  I still have that ski."

Kens wish for Foster: "I hope camp keeps making the impact it had on me."  Ken is a Deputy Sheriff currently residing in Carroll, Iowa.
